Ongoing Fundraisers

In addition to supporting specific PTA-sponsored fundraising events that take place during the year, DES families can help raise money for the school through the following ongoing fundraisers:

Box Tops for Education: We have all been busy this school year collecting our box tops from various grocery products by Pillsbury, General Mills, Ziploc, Betty Crocker and many more. There are contests at school for the class with the most box tops. Help us to continue to make this a success. Just send in the box tops to school with your child. Each classroom has a collection box. Track the progress here and in the Mustang Magazine to follow which class is bringing in the most. You can also find the latest flyer here.

Grocery Bonus Programs: Giant Food, Harris Teeter, and Safeway each have programs in which a portion of what you spend at their stores is given to the school of your choice. In each case it is a two-step process--obtain a store card and then link that card to the school of your choice.
